Course Description
This course is basically to prepare an individual to the world of computing, word processing, calculations using spreadsheets and presenting topics using tools like Power Point although this certificate does not subscribe to any tool in the usage of practical example, we use the internationally acclaimed and popularly used Microsoft Office Suite of products that include MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS Power Point, Internet Explorer, MS-Outlook, etc. The full certificate can be done at once or in modules which earn individual credits that lead to the total credits and certificate eventually.

The Foundation Course is about all fundamental modules, all Fundamental unit
standards are covered under this course
• Oral and Written Communication
• Basic mathematical literacy
• Writing business reports
The Core modules are covered in the following topics of the Computer Literacy course.
• Word Processing using MS-WORD
• Business Calculations using MS-EXCEL
• Business Presentations using MS-PowerPoint
• Messaging using MS-Outlook
• Exploring the world wide web using MS-Internet Explorer
• Searching the Web for business related information using Google
Electives will be chosen as a case study to create a practical example of end-to-end process of creating a report using word, budget using spreadsheet, or a business presentation using MS-PowerPoint.
